Turnaround

Clinical Use

The determination of sulfate in urine is of interest in sulfur metabolism studies. The urinary sulfate is mainly derived from sulfur-containing amino acids and is therefore determined by protein intake. This assay is also useful as part of a kidney stone risk profile.
