Due to Winter Storm Cora UPS is experiencing shipping and operating delays across mid-West. We continue to monitor the storm and are actively working with UPS to ensure that shipments arrive as quickly as conditions permit.
Effective January 1, 2025, Garcia Clinical Laboratory will discontinue the manual trichomonas screen and transition to a PCR-based testing platform for improved diagnostic accuracy. This change is due to the lack of sensitivity associated with the manual trichomonas screen. Providers can order the new PCR test using test code STI3P or STI4P.
