Specimen Requirement
Collect lavender EDTA whole blood, send room temperature. Minimum 7 mL whole blood (2 lavender tops) required.
Methodology
Sequence-based typing (SBT), sequence-specific oligonucleotide probes (SSOP), and/or sequence-specific primers (SSP) as needed to obtain the required resolution.
Stability
Room temp: 7 days, Refrigerated: Unacceptable, Frozen: Unacceptable
