Specimen Requirement
Collect fresh stool and transfer to a sterile container or an enteric C&S vial.
Diapers, tissues, wooden sticks, etc. are not acceptable. If more than one culture order, specimen must be collected 24 hours apart. If pathogens other than Campylobacter, Salmonella, E.coli 157:H7, or Shigella are suspected, indicate on requisition.
